Hello! My name is Nick and I’m a diabetes educator, writer, health coach and movement teacher.

My personal health story began with a startling diagnosis of type 1 diabetes at age 4, followed by many years of struggling with chronic health conditions. At my worst, I had over 12 chronic disease diagnoses! After years of being barely able to function and working with some of the best holistic doctors who weren’t able to help me, I was truly sick of being sick.

​

But funny enough, being so sick was the best gift I could’ve ever received. If I hadn’t been knocked out with illness, I never would’ve been forced to change my habits, shift the way I thought about health and learned all the incredible things that led me to being a practitioner myself.

Everything changed when I started focusing on cultivating health, rather than treating my diseases. I disregarded any diagnosis or label and instead learned how a healthy human being eats, moves, thinks and functions…. and slowly cultivated the habits and practices that would get me there. After going on that journey myself, I have devoted my life to becoming the holistic practitioner I needed during my toughest health struggles to help YOU avoid making the same mistakes I did.

My background involves many different areas of health. I have experience working in exercise physiology, health coaching, massage therapy, movement training and diabetes education. But most importantly, I know what it feels like to not feel your best. 've been there, I've lived it.

I’m now thrilled to be able to guide you on your journey back to health, utilizing both holistic and clinical approaches to lead you to real, deep healing, helping you balance your blood sugars and help you feel good again.

I’m not simply after helping you “relieve your symptoms” or chase your blood sugars with medication. My goal is to help you cultivate real health, evolve out of disease and grow into the person you were made to be.
